Mibu Fischer is a Marine Ethnoecologist at CSIRO whose work sits at the interface of Indigenous science and knowledge systems and marine and coastal restoration, marine management, and fisheries governance. Their research supports culturally informed approaches to the blue economy by strengthening Indigenous leadership, stewardship, and decision‑making.
