Speakers

Oceans support a multi-trillion dollar blue economy but are impacted by climate change and pollution, threatening the services that oceans provide to sectors as diverse as energy, fisheries, tourism and logistics. This session will explore how investors can scale capital toward sustainable oceans, including nature-based solutions to the climate crisis, blue bond issuances and investment in the preservation of marine ecosystems. Discussions will cover biodiversity impacts, aquaculture risks, plastic pollution, and the critical role of data in identifying ocean‑related financial risks and opportunities. The session will highlight how responsible investment frameworks and collaborative stewardship can support healthier marine ecosystems while driving long‑term value for investors.
