As Silva Capitals Delivery Partner Lead for Community and Social Performance Laura has over 20 years of experience in across finance, resources, and government, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, human rights, and social impact.
Her experience includes human rights and cultural heritage due diligence & risk management, ESG corporate governance (South Pacific & Southeast Asia) and partnership management & program delivery (Pilbara & Goldfields), with a particular emphasis on the protection of cultural heritage and development of alterative economic opportunities for First Nations people.
As the only carbon project participating in the Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Initiative pilot, Laura has hands on experience co-designing processes aligned to the principals and is a passionate advocate for embedding cultural integrity into project design.
