Jas Chambers
Chair and Co-founder of Ocean Decade Australia
Jas Chambers works at the intersection of nature, science, business and policy, with deep expertise in international science diplomacy, including with the World Meteorological Organization and UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. Recognising a critical gap in Australian ocean governance, she co-founded Ocean Decade Australia in 2021 and now serves as Chair. Jas is President of Science & Technology Australia, a member of the Commonwealth Cooperative Research Centres Advisory Committee, and a strategic advisor to public and private sector organisations.
