RIAA's First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group is an initiative to support members in their stewardship responsibilities respecting First Nations peoples' rights in their business operations and their portfolio of companies. The First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group has a three-fold purpose: address and advance the rights of First Nations peoples; elevate First Nations peoples' participation and voices in the investment sector; and increase access, scale and impact of First Nations peoples' related investment activity. We are very pleased to have the First Nations Clean Energy Network to join us and provide an update on their work as well as on the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy.

This meeting will begin with a workshop on Mapping Global Standards (as part of the Educating workstream), facilitated by Rachel Tinkler. The meeting will then continue with an update on other key topics including Te Ao Māori approaches to investment, policy advocacy, and the NZ Sustainable Finance Strategy.
