Responsible AI for Responsible Investors - A practical workshop
Hosted by Canbury in partnership with RIAA
AI has moved from chat interfaces to agentic systems that plan, use tools and complete multi-step work - the biggest shift in how the technology is used in the past year. This one hour session is built for asset owners who need to move past "should we use AI?" to "how do we govern and deploy it?"
Led by Canbury, a technology-enabled sustainability consultancy, the workshop combines a hands-on exercise with a candid look at what AI can and can't be trusted to do in an investment context.
What we'll cover
- AI overview and adoption - key terms, the shift from chat to agents, and how leading investors have moved AI into everyday infrastructure
- Live exercise: AI-assisted diligence in 15 minutes - see how different prompts adjust the outputs. Bring a laptop and whichever AI tool you normally use
- Getting outputs you can trust - practical techniques for accuracy and consistency, plus what it takes to move from a browser prompt to a governed, auditable pipeline
- Governance - five principles for using AI on confidential, decision-critical work
- Applications for public and private markets - A summary of how the market is adopting AI
Who should attend
Investment, stewardship, ESG and operations professionals at asset owners who are using AI already or deciding how to. No technical background required.
Register by 14 August. Up to two representatives per organisation, spaces are limited.
