The meeting will open with a presentation on the Commonwealth cultural heritage reform process from Aurora Milroy, the Director of Policy at the National Native Title Council. Anirudha Nagar, the Director of Clean Energy and Investment at the National Native Title Council, will then present on the Future made in Australia and future acts regime. We will then continue with the regular working group agenda, including an update on the Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Initiative, First Nations Investment Markets Research, an Aotearoa update, the StockWatch Report and RIAA’s policy update. Please note the presentation component of this meeting will not be recorded so we encourage you to join the meeting at the scheduled time.

Anirudha joined the NNTC in 2021 and brings international legal experience from diverse jurisdictions. Previously, he was the Communities Director at Accountability Counsel, where he supported Indigenous communities across South Asia negotiate better social and environmental outcomes with the proponents and investors of development projects. He also worked at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in New Delhi, advocating for victims of police brutality, and at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, advising the Chief Prosecutor on international law and procedure. He holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Anirudha is on the Board of Directors of Jubilee Australia Research Centre.
