RIAA's First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group is an initiative to support members in their stewardship responsibilities respectingFirst Nations peoples' rights in their business operations and their portfolio of companies.
The First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group has a three-fold purpose: address and advance the rights of First Nations peoples; elevate First Nations peoples' participation and voices in the investment sector; and increase access, scale and impact of First Nations peoples' related investment activity.

Appointed to the AICD in January 2022, Justin Agale MAICD has been active in driving the development of the AICD's First Nations sector strategy, co-chairing the AICD’s new Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan working group, and engaging with the First Nations sector and directors. He has more than 15 years’ experience in helping to drive change and create a positive framework to address governance, risk, non-compliance and strengthening controls in the First Nations sector and beyond. This includes more than a decade working with the NSW Aboriginal land rights network, and almost a decade with the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
