The Aotearoa Collaborative Working Group (ACWG) is an initiative by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), providing a platform for Aotearoa New Zealand members of RIAA to actively participate and collaborate on critical responsible investment and sustainability issues.

It aims to contribute to evolving best practice in responsible investment, sharing knowledge and work to align these with Aotearoa New Zealand's responsible investment and policy priorities. Through quarterly in-person events and shared insights, members commit to improving responsible investment outcomes within the group and influencing their own organisations and the wider investment community.

This meeting opened with a session brought to you by workstream one of the ACWG focusing on the impact of the current geopolitical landscape on responsible investment. This included a presentation by Felix Lam, JP Morgan (Asia ex-Japan, Head of Investment Stewardship) followed by discussion and then closing reflections by Estelle Parker (Co-CEO of RIAA).

The meeting then followed with updates from workstream two which monitors and evaluates relevant submissions, collaborates with volunteers to draft and assess their significance, and works towards creating joint submissions with ACWG members. It also included workstream three which focused on updates on thematic working groups and the three external entities voted on by the group.
