Ashley leads IFM’s company engagement and stewardship activities on behalf of the Australian listed equities portfolios, including being a key contributor to the IFM voting determination for Australian equity holdings. Ashley also works with IFM investment teams to strengthen ESG integration into investment processes. Ashley brings significant investment experience to IFM, having spent more than a decade in the Janus Henderson Australian Fixed Interest team as a Credit Analyst and later an Associate Portfolio Manager – Credit & ESG. In these roles, Ashley had responsibility for company engagement and the integration of ESG factors into company analysis as well as portfolio construction. He commenced his financial services career in 2001 at corporate superannuation provider Plum Financial Services. Ashley is Co‑Chair of the RIAA (Responsible Investment Association Australasia) Human Rights Working Group.
