First Nations Peoples’ Rights Working Group Meeting #2, 2025

RIAA's First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group is an initiative to support members in their stewardship responsibilities respecting First Nations peoples' rights in their business operations and their portfolio of companies. We are very pleased to have the First Nations Clean Energy Network to join us and provide an update on their work as well as on the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy. Following the presentation from the First Nations Clean Energy Network, the meeting will continue with industry and subgroup updates, including on Aotearoa New Zealand, First Nations Heritage Protection Alliance, the Dhawura Ngilan Business and Investor Initiative and relevant policy and advocacy.

RIAA's First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group is an initiative to support members in their stewardship responsibilities respecting First Nations peoples' rights in their business operations and their portfolio of companies.


The First Nations Peoples' Rights Working Group has a three-fold purpose: address and advance the rights of First Nations peoples and others subjected to systemic racism; elevate First Nations peoples' participation and voices in investment and the Responsible Investment community; and increase access, scale and impact of First Nations peoples' related investment activity.
