Amelia leads the XRB’s sustainability reporting work programme, with responsibility for the implementation and ongoing coordination of Aotearoa New Zealand’s climate‑related disclosure framework, as well as the XRB’s wider sustainability reporting work programme.
Amelia has significant experience in climate and sustainability policy, developed through senior roles across the public and private sectors in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Her work has covered climate governance, policy design, and international coordination, with a strong focus on translating complex policy objectives into practical reporting outcomes. She brings strong analytical capability and an international perspective to sustainability and climate‑related standard setting in New Zealand.
Amelia holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, an MSc from the University of Oxford, and an MA(Hons) from the University of Auckland.
