Tuhi is the Chief Executive of Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou, a charity dedicated to supporting the children and whānau of people in prison across Aotearoa.
A values-driven leader, Tuhi has over 30 years’ experience spanning social services, education, and financial services.
Before joining Pillars in 2023, he led a team to provide wraparound support programs for at-risk youth offenders and “ram-raiders” including the delivery of NZ’s first social bond.
Tuhi is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, and is on the boards of Impact Investing NZ, Financial Services Complaints Ltd, The Good Registry and Social Service Providers Aotearoa.
