A senior ESG and sustainable finance leader with over 20 years of global investment experience and 15+ years pioneering ESG integration across APAC. I bring a unique combination of investment leadership, client strategy, stewardship expertise, and academic authority, with a proven ability to translate complex ESG frameworks into actionable solutions for institutional and wholesale clients.
My career spans top-tier global institutions—including Invesco, HSBC, Barings, Ping An, and Value Partners—where I led ESG integration across sovereign wealth funds, pension portfolios, retirement schemes, insurance mandates, and mutual funds. I managed and developed award‑winning sustainable investment strategies, including the world’s first China Green Fund, the China Green Bond Fund, and the RMB Bond Fund, each recognized for consecutive years of outstanding ESG‑aligned performance.
As an academic at HKU Business School, I teach Corporate Finance, Green Finance, Sustainable Finance, and Impact Investing, while supervising research and mentoring future industry leaders. My research focuses on climate transition risk, sustainable investment frameworks, and ESG valuation methodologies, bridging academic rigor with real‑world investment practice.
I have deep expertise in global and regional ESG frameworks—including EU Taxonomy, SFDR, TCFD, SASB, Climate Bond Initiative, UN PRI, and PRC/HK sustainability policies—and extensive experience representing firms at industry conferences, regulatory dialogues, and ESG working groups. My leadership style emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, client education, and elevating ESG capabilities across investment, sales, and product teams.
