Marcus is a Director and Senior Advisor in the Investment Advisory practice of Pitcher Partners Melbourne, which advises on funds under management in excess of $4 billion.
Marcus has over 15 years experience in the investment markets and also has a strong grounding in accounting and tax.
Marcus has managed a broad range of clients and portfolios over his career to date, from high net worth individuals, SMSFs, family trusts and corporate institutions including APRA regulated insurance companies and friendly societies.
He also provides asset consulting advice to a state government department.
Marcus’ key focus is ensuring that clients fully understand the risks (including opportunity costs) associated with the investments and strategies that they adopt.
Marcus began with the firm in 2002 as a graduate in the Superannuation division and in that time gained a strong understanding of superannuation, SMSFs, accounting and tax. He moved to the Investment Advisory team in December 2004 has been an advisor since March 2008.
