Maple‐Brown Abbott is a privately owned investment management company, specialising in the management of long only investment portfolios across Australian equities, Asia Pacific ex‐Japan equities and global listed infrastructure securities. Maple-Brown Abbott was established in 1984, and has a long term track record of outperformance . Maple-Brown Abbott consistently apply our value investment philosophy and disciplined investment process to select stocks for their perceived fundamental value. Consistent with this approach, Maple-Brown Abbott has adopted an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration and engagement strategy and our long term investment horizon enables us to take a long term view on ESG factors. ESG factors are identified and assessed in our investment process, and, where material, are reflected in our assessment of valuation. Further, where material ESG factors are identified, we seek to engage with these companies. Our often material shareholdings engenders long term, influential relationships with the Board and management of our portfolio companies and positions us to influence change.
