Dave Rae is a financial adviser and co-founder of UNLESS Financial, an independent, fee-for-service ethical financial advice firm based in Sydney and Canberra, Australia. He specialises in responsible, ethical and impact investing, helping clients across Australia align their money with their values.   Dave believes investing can be a force for good, used to drive change and help address some of the biggest challenges the world faces. He works with clients to build a Portfolio of Purpose that reflects what matters to them. This means not only excluding investments that cause harm, but actively seeking out sustainable and impact investments that benefit society, support positive environmental and social outcomes, and contribute to real-world solutions.   Dave is certified as a Responsible Investment Adviser by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA). He is a former Director of RIAA, where he supported its mission to align capital with a healthy society, environment and economy. He has also chaired one of RIAA's Certification Assessment Panels and co-chaired RIAA's Financial Adviser Forum.   A recognised voice on responsible and ethical investing in Australia, Dave is regularly called on for expert commentary, with contributions featured in the Australian Financial Review, The Sydney Morning Herald, Financial Standard, IFA and Money Magazine. He speaks and presents on responsible and impact investing at industry events including the Impact Investment Summit, RIAA, the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA), Money Management and more.
