Sam Webster is the Head of First Nations Affairs at NAB, where she leads the bank’s work to advance First Nations economic empowerment and prosperity as part of NAB’s broader sustainability ambition alongside housing affordability and climate. A proud Torres Strait Islander woman with Scottish and Kiwi ancestry, Sam has more than two decades of experience across government, policy reform and institutional transformation. Her work focuses on how institutions can reduce barriers, build trust and create stronger pathways into the economy for First Nations peoples, businesses and communities. At NAB, she is helping shape a long-term approach that connects reconciliation to business strategy, governance, customer outcomes and inclusive growth across the financial sector.
