Sustainability leadership in complex times

27 & 28 May - Program snapshot

In today’s fast-paced and uncertain world, where authenticity matters more than ever, executive leaders increasingly need to guide their organisations and teams through periods of transition. When it comes to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations, they need to communicate the “why” as much as the “how”. They must collaborate across their organisation and externally, engage teams, boards, CIOs and C-suites, and be agile, all the while remaining committed to organisational values. In this session, industry leaders will share how they consider the relationship between the integration of responsible investment into investment decision-making and the imperative to deliver strong investment returns, how client/member preferences are factored in to decision-making and funds’ current approach to thematics such as climate change. This session will explore how leaders and organisations can stay true to their responsible investment, ESG and sustainability objectives and attract, train and retain the right talent, in an era of seemingly constant change.
