Workshop - Private markets, real impact: A practical workshop for financial advisers

27 & 28 May - Program snapshot

Private markets are becoming an increasingly important part of client portfolios, but how can financial advisers confidently incorporate responsible investment (RI) principles in this space?

Join us for a practical workshop as we launch RIAA’s new Responsible investment in private markets factsheet that will equip advisers with the tools to navigate ESG considerations across private equity, credit, infrastructure and real assets.

Drawing on real-world examples and common client scenarios, the session will explore how RI approaches including ESG integration, screening, stewardship and impact can be applied in private markets and where these differ from public market investing.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the risks and opportunities unique to private markets, including long-term illiquidity, data limitations, and the greater potential for influence through ownership and governance.

This session is designed for financial advisers seeking practical guidance on integrating responsible investment into private market allocations.
