At the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), we champion responsible investing and a financial system that works for people and planet. With 500+ members managing over $29 trillion globally, we’re leading the movement to ensure capital drives positive change.

Joining our small, values-driven team means you’ll be part of our mission - helping to shape a healthier society, environment and economy.

The Role

We’re looking for a Finance Admin Officer to support our operations and keep the financial engine running smoothly.

This role is about more than numbers: it’s about ensuring RIAA has the solid foundations we need to deliver meaningful impact across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations & Compliance on:

  • Accounts receivable & payable  -  processing invoices, coding expenses, reconciling accounts.
  • Financial systems - keeping Xero/Dext/GlueUp accurate and audit-ready.
  • Process improvements - finding smarter ways to do things.
  • Operational support - assisting with reporting, payroll coding and audit prep.

About You

You’re detail-oriented, organised and proactive. You may already have experience in finance admin, bookkeeping, or accounts, and you’re comfortable with the systems listed above. But just as important—you care about contributing to something bigger.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings strong skills in invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Is accurate, reliable and tech-savvy (Excel + cloud systems).
  • Communicates clearly and works well with people.
  • Values professionalism, integrity and discretion.
  • Has a genuine interest in responsible investment, sustainability or positive impact.

Why Join Us?

A role with real purpose - your work underpins a movement that matters.

Flexibility - approx. 1 day per week, hybrid working (Melbourne CBD + WFH).

Collegiate culture - a passionate, supportive and mission-driven team.
