UCA Funds Management is part of the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania with $650 million under management. It offers a cash management fund and a growth fund for churches and charities and similar funds for retail investors. Investments are consistent with Christian values and good financial stewardship.
A positive screen encourages investment in companies which enhance the health and welfare of individuals, communities and the environment. A negative screen prohibits investment in companies who cause or perpetuate injustice, suffering and unacceptable environmental damage or infringe human rights (eg armaments, uranium mining, gambling, alcohol and tobacco production and pornography). Management fees (after costs) are given to the Uniting Church for their work in the community.
