The local subsidiary of Sustainable Asset Management (SAM) has been acquired by the local directors Francis Grey and Simon Romijn and been renamed, Transcap Investments Pty Ltd.
Transcap will continue to support the marketing, client service and research oversight for the Sustainable Leaders Fund and will thus provide the same support and service previously conducted by SAM’s Australian subsidiary.
The two funds, Sustainable Leaders International Fund and the Sustainable Leaders Australian Fund were launched in 2001.The AuSSI index is a best of sector index comprising some 70 Australian listed stocks assessed by SAM as sustainability sector leaders. The AuSSI index seeks to match the performance of the Australian stock market and has done so since launch in 2005.
