Tony Bates

Investors with a social conscience expect an extra level of conscientiousness when making investment decisions. We apply a very high level of financial discipline first and then screen potential investments to match a client’s ethical expectations. We take potential investments through a six-step filter process, the first three filters are financial and the final three are ethical and evidential.

Tony Bates has held senior positions in stockbroking, funds management and private banking for 15 years. He was involved in the launch of two ethical funds: the YWCA Ethical Investment Trust in 1989 (now managed by Challenger) and the AM Ethical and SRI Fund in 2001. Our business operates on a fixed retainer basis only, as a guide, the minimum annual retainer is $6,000 pa plus GST. All commissions are rebated.
