The Marist Brothers are a Catholic congregation dedicated to the education of young people, particularly those most neglected. The Melbourne Province of the Marist Brothers established the Champagnat Education Office in 1999 which supports Marist Principals and Marist Schools in many ways.
Australian Marists also undertake development and education projects in a number of overseas countries, especially in the Asia Pacific region. They also work with youths, young adults and families at risk through welfare services.
