Loreto Sisters Australia is a Christian global network of women. We are engaged in advocating for women and children, challenging unjust systems and educating for the future.We are actively involved in the development of educational policies in schools across every capital city, and in Ballarat and Portland. A number of Loreto Sisters provide family counselling and organisational support to people in need across rural and urban areas, delivered through programs such as the Strong Young Mums Program. Many of our Sisters take an active role in contemporary issues relating to our society including reconciliation and outreach to refugees and asylum seekers.
