Collins Street Baptist Church (CSBC) is a Christian community that has been operating in the heart of Melbourne since 1938. Our purpose and vision is lived out through three key ministry areas: Worship and Spirituality, Care and Community, Justice and Outreach.Our outreach programs include the Asylum Seeker Accommodation Project in partnership with Hotham Mission which provides temporary residence for asylum seekers. It also includes Urban Seed which combines street work with education programs for marginalised people. In addition, CSBC is committed to deepening our care for the environment by expanding our theological understanding. This is achieved through the delivery of our Season of Creation liturgy.
