A quote from The Age January 31, 2010 in my opinion best summarizes what Ethical investing is all about for me: “Even better than feeling good because you’re wealthier is being wealthier because you were feeling good”
Over the past years debt has been the catch phrase and what is a strength of ethical funds is they avoid debt-laden stocks, because excessive borrowing isn’t considered socially responsible. I have been in the Financial services sector for over 20 years and have seen many changes come and go but believe very strongly in providing a service that the client wants and responsible investing has to be high on the agenda.
I am a sole practitioner who has a fee for service business and a hands on approach.
