Christian Investors Forum

The Christian Investors Forum (CIF) was formed in 2006 as a directorate of the Responsible Investment Association Australasia. CIF evolved from the Christian Centre for Socially Responsible Investment, which has other international partners (see links below).

CIF is a group of like-minded Christians drawn from Christian organisations, Churches, para-church organisations, and interested individuals, and those who want to learn more. CIF is non-denominational and seeks to inspire investment that reflects Christian values and provide a forum for those who want to act together in this area of finance and investment.

CIF encourages its members to be good stewards of their financial resources. We believe that investments not only need to perform well financially, but also, perform in regard to social, environmental and governance standards. We believe that our investments should reflect our Christian values.

IN OTHER CIF NEWS…

CIF member Uniting Financial Services shares the following media release:

Uniting Financial Services gets Five Stars for latest development Uniting Financial Services has created a stand out in Melbourne’s office leasing market with its latest development, Northbank Place. The A-grade, ten storey building located at 525 Flinders Street, Melbourne, achieved a Five Star Green Star rating upon completion in 2009 due to features such as shower facilities on each level, bike racks and lockers as well as a CO2 monitoring and control system. With Melbourne‘s vacancy rate currently at 6.3% and set to fall further, tenants looking for quality, contiguous office space will have limited choice over the next 12 to 18 months. Property owner and manager Uniting Financial Services, the treasury for The Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of NSW and the ACT, expects enquiries from prospective tenants with high standards, similar to those of its major tenant, prestigious international architecture firm Peddle Thorp.
