RIAA 7th International RI Conference

7th INTERNATIONAL RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT CONFERENCE
14-15 September 2010
Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf
Darling Harbour, Sydney

Climate change, an ageing and growing population, affordable and accessible healthcare and increasing competition for scarce natural resources - these are just a few of the challenges facing us in the 21st century that strike at the fundamental structure of our society - and our economy.

These dominant issues will drive economic innovation and investment value but how well are they really understood in the investment community?

RIAA’s 7th International Responsible Investment Conference will provide insight into how the financial services sector is dealing with these important issues that, in many cases, are the elephants in the room.

The conference will also examine horizon environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues at play when investing in China, the new era of valuation modeling and trend analysis of the big investment themes that now dominate our economies.

This conference provides Australian and New Zealand investment and business professionals with access to globally recognised experts in responsible investment, respected for their firsthand experience and thought leadership in managing ESG issues in investment practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in master classes, designed to meet the specific needs of financial advisers, fund managers and super funds.

RIAA is delighted to once again to present this conference in partnership with the EPA Victoria on behalf of the UN-backed PRI and UNEP FI.
