NGOs certified under the Responsible Investment Certification Program have fulfilled the following requirements:
- Adopt a responsible investment policy and practices which describe how the organisation will systematically address labour rights, environmental, social, ethical or governance issues in the selection, retention and divestment of investments;
- Apply responsible investment methodology to all investments, except in those cases where the appropriate products are not available;
- Publicly promote their responsible investment policy in the organisation’s annual report and other relevant public documents;
- Educate stakeholders and constituents about their responsible investment policy.
